The next issue of Juçara language journal is looking for works which aim to investigate the knowledge of traditional communities (indigenous, quilombolas, riverside dwellers, among others) by means of record and analysis of the oral and written narratives of these groups, as well as review and analysis of the academic and official (governmental) production that thematizes these communities and their knowledge. At the same time, it will investigate the knowledge of analogous communities in foreign cities, in which also communities that moved from rural areas or that were geographically reached by the advance of the metropolis or that are part of the global context of displacements and migrations live together. Thus, we focus on works that approach different sides of traditional communities, understanding that their different levels of urbanization will enable us to observe from a globalized perspective the relation between the human development and the cultural and linguistic diversities of traditional communities. And the contrast between the cultural and linguistic diversity present in Brazil and other countries.

The Revista de Letras Juçara also has a free theme section, which includes various reviews and texts of literary theory and criticism. In addition, it also has a section of artistic production, which receives short stories, poems and chronicles.
